Questions answered

A clear start begins with the right information.

Here are answers to common questions about contacting and instructing Faraj Law.

Before you instruct us

Do I need to know which immigration application I need?

No. Tell us briefly about your circumstances and any deadline. We can discuss the relevant options; you do not need to choose an application form before contacting us.

Should I visit the office or arrange a consultation first?

Please contact us before travelling to the office so that we can agree an appointment and confirm how your consultation will take place.

Are the published immigration fees the total I will pay?

No. The guide shows professional fee ranges, excluding VAT where applicable and third-party costs such as Home Office fees. Your written costs information will explain the agreed work, exclusions and foreseeable additional costs before paid work begins.

Has my enquiry been sent when I use the contact form?

Not automatically. The form prepares an email in your configured email application. You must review it and press Send there. The website does not confirm delivery or save the enquiry. If no email application opens, please contact us by telephone, WhatsApp or email directly. An enquiry does not confirm an appointment.

Is the initial consultation free?

Yes. Faraj Law offers a free initial consultation of up to 30 minutes, subject to availability and any necessary conflict check.

How do I request a consultation?

Call 0161 710 1778, email info@farajlaw.co.uk or send a WhatsApp message to 07450 649700. The contact form can also prepare an email enquiry; you must send it from your email application. No appointment is confirmed until the firm contacts you.

What should I send with my first enquiry?

Please send only a short summary and your contact details. Do not send passports, medical records or other confidential documents until the firm asks for them through an appropriate channel.

Can you guarantee my case will succeed?

No. A solicitor cannot guarantee an outcome. We will provide an honest assessment based on the information and evidence available.

How much will my matter cost?

This depends on the service and circumstances. Written costs information will be provided before paid work begins. Eligible MOD hearing loss claims may be accepted on a No Win, No Fee basis.

Is my information confidential?

Solicitors owe strict duties of confidentiality. Our privacy notice explains how personal information is processed and the limited circumstances in which it may need to be disclosed.
